Landstuhl 17-01-09

Seen at landstuhl during a very quick visit this saturday:

UH-60A O-26054 (FY88) MEDCO.

I don't know the exact unit but this one had red cross marks with last three of its registration in it.

Any help on the exact unit is welcome.

Also on this sunday you could find this helo parked outside at Landstuhl, around 17.30h

My guess is that's its an 236th MEDCO machine..

Sure.

However the 236th MedCo doesn't exist anymore. This changed into C / 1-214th AVN. The A / 1-214th (non MedCo) is based at Coleman Barracks. However the C compagnie was believed to be using the A compagnies UH-60A's in the east and the A compagnie to be using the blackhawks of the C compagnie in Germany.
So this might mean that C is back in Germany and reclaiming their choppers to start operations from Landstuhl again!

In Landstuhl steht momentan eine UH-1H aus Hohenfels. 74-22448
(c) FF.

We take a look from out the forest and saw three UH-60s on the ramp.

UH-60A(C) 87-24584 Shape Flight Det. took off at 16.30hrs.

UH-60A C/1-214AVN?

88-26080
