Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

Re: Phototopic 01-05-09 EHAM
I don't think that is entirely true. It is forbidden for military aircraft and military airports and because lots of airports in Greece are combined civil/military this is very often the case, but not always. And do you know that officially it is also still forbidden to take photographs at military airports in the Netherlands.... (And I believe officially also at Schiphol as it was once designated military in WW II).B767-300ER wrote:Nice pics derice....

At most civil airports in Greece, especially the tourist destinations, you can take photos as long as you keep a low profile. Corfu is a good example.

Re: Phototopic 01-05-09 EHAM
Well, I took pictures fromplanes at Rhodos (Diagoras Airport) (plane at the end of runway which is laying there a few years) but I have had to delete the pictures from my memorycard by the autorities at the airport. In the departure Hall on every window there were "stickers" that it is not allwoed to tace pictures. Same At Crete (Heraklion Nicolas Kazantakis AIprort) , also "stickers"on the windows that it is not allowed to take pictures there...Aircolours wrote:I don't think that is entirely true. Re: Phototopic 01-05-09 EHAM
I have been to Greece five times to different islands like Corfu, Crete and Samos and I had no problems.
The only airport where I got in trouble so far was in Egypt (Hurghada)
