Re: Frisian Flag 2009 - participants
Hi all,
If I read the discussion carefully I understand "LN" F-15's will fly from Leeuwarden airbase .
This exercise start on tuesday 14th of april. Does this mean like TLP participants will arrive during this tuesday 14th of april and have the first couple of days academic days (like TLP)?
Or does the exercise start immediately? Meaning early in the morning all participants arrive and still have two missions that tuesday 14th of April (morning and afternoon)?
I hope somebody can tell me how it will go on?
All answers appreciated.
Grtz,
Edward.

Last year the arrival day was what the name says, only arrivals.
As i can recall no local F16's were flying that day.
On Wednesday 15/4 FF2009 will start with 2 waves per day and this wil continue untill 23/4 weather permitting.
24/4 is departure day of all aircraft

I know they fly 2 sorties a day. But around what times do they takeoff and return?
Thanks!

Re: Frisian Flag 2009 - participants
Does anyone know what happend to the F-15 that returned early on the 16th aftrenoon wave?
Escorted by a fellow F-15 and fire/medical personnel standing-by?

It stopped shortly at the end of the runway for a check and taxied then to the flightline.
So no serious problem.
