Moscow Sheremetyevo
Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |
Moscow Sheremetyevo
To complete the trilogy of Moscow airports, here are some pictures from Sheremetyevo.
We did not plan to do much spotting here because the airport is dominated by Aeroflot with its Nord and Don subsidiaries and the other airports have more variety.
We did fly with Blue wings from Dusseldorf and they land at Sheremetyevo.
On the way back (September 1st) we were 2 hours delayed which gave us some extra time to look around.
Most pictures are taken from inside terminal 1C, this is a new terminal next to the rather old terminal 1.
Terminal 1C has a good glass front and once you are cheked in you can observe the whole airport.
number 2 is the VP-BKO that crashed in September near Perm.
The last two were taken from the taxing airbus A320 through an almost opague window, that is why the are somewhat hazy.
But hey, you don't get to see Aeroflot Plusd everyday.
Movements can be found in the spotting worldwide section
