Today we had a great day at Gilze, no RAF Tucano's but a Apache helicopter on the slopes, here the result:

Gilze 20-3-09

Post by Antoine »

Hello everybody,

Today was a nice day at Gilze.
Although there weren't as many movements as I hoped for, still some nice pictures could be made. Additionally, it was great meeting some old spotting-friends and some new ones!

Here are some results:

No. 5 is great indeed. Where you a bit too late to catch the Bo on the slopes?

Sven

No, they just left Gilze at 1 o'clock to their homebase, the shots were made on the normal spottersplace along the old Langenbergseweg.
The slopes have never been used by other military airforces, and why should they? Almost all other countries got real hills and mountains to practise on.
