Color problem when uploading

Het volgende valt mij op bij mijn foto's. Als ik ze bewerk in photoshop dan zien de kleuren er goed en helder uit en is het resultaat zoals ik wens. Als ik hem uiteindelijk opsla en open in irfanview, of plaats op het messageboard dan lijken de kleuren wat flets, en lichter, alsof er meer brightness is toegevoegd, als ik de foto dan weer open in photoshop dan is deze "extra brightness" er niet en ziet de foto eruit zoals ik hem bewerkt hebt.

Ik heb het vermoeden dat dit met mijn kleurprofiel instelling te maken heeft (Abode RGB, sRGB) Iemand hier ook ervaring mee / bekend probleem?

Ter verduidelijking een voorbeeldje, links zoals op het MB te zien, rechts zoals in photoshop.

Je denkt denk ik in de juiste richting. Check even bij Edit --> Convert to Profile welk kleurenprofiel er aan de foto hangt. Als dat AdobeRGB is dan moet je dat daar even veranderen in sRGB. Dat is namelijk het juiste profiel om foto's op internet te tonen.

Thijs denkt inderdaad in de goede richting. Een van zijn foto's geopend in photoshop, colorspace is Adobe RGB.

Gaan we daar vrolijk verder, mocht ik nog aanvullende vragen en opmerkingen hebben.

Which colour settings do most print company's use? sRGB or Adobe RGB. Because the difference is one you can see

All printer services prefer sRGB.

For my info: you mean consumer print services, right?
Scramble is processed in CMYK which, I have been told, is what many professional printers use. Even prosumer color laser printers have CMYK toner cartridges.
Furthermore, I have been ordering prints from Adobe RGB files (print service just mentioned 'RGB') and the match with what I see on calibrated screens is outstandig.

You probably cannot go wrong with sRGB, but it is a bit more restricted than Adobe RGB. If there are facts to learn in this area, I will be very interested to read them. TIA,

A slightly wider color space than sRGB. Mainly used for printing for business purposes."
