Re: Russische Antonov naar Volkel
The An-30 was about 20 minutes ago noted overhead Krommenie (Noord-Holland), more or less 2000 feet flying north-east direction.
Not known yet...if somebody at Volkel can check it... ...it is located on the aft left side below the horizontal stabilizer and should be a 4 digit number.r.e.hendriks wrote: - En tot slot...wat is het constructie nummer van deze bak??

Hoi,
vanaf richting Tilburg gezien.
Gegroet
Hans

And according this same website the c/n of 01bk should be 1307.
http://russianplanes.net/EN/REGINFO/2288
So the mistery is partly solved...well done.

Re: Russische Antonov naar Volkel
This c/n belongs to the ''87'' black...I used this picture only as an example ..I/we are looking for the c/n of the ''01'' black.phantom wrote:Acoording this site cn is 08-07:

According your link this could be 1307, which is given for the ''01''...no colour mentioned so this could be also ''01'' yellow, red, blue, black and so on...so Volkel do your best to solve this mistery...
Re: Russische Antonov naar Volkel
You are right, found also a picture of an Russian airforce An-30 with 01 in red colors.no colour mentioned so this could be also ''01'' yellow, red, blue, black and so on...so

Re: Russische Antonov naar Volkel
Well, as the addition "red", "yellow", "black" etc., is only reflecting the color (and thus unit?) of this aircraft, and as this "01" is painted in black, would "01 black" be an obvious conclusion?
In that respect; if above assumption is found incorrect, did anyone verify "87 black" to actually be "black" in spite of the number having been painted in black on that aircraft too?

As said above... if you have a look here: http://russianplanes.net/EN/REGINFO/2288
You can see the 01 mentioned is the same 01 black that visited Volkel.
Just look at the pictures on that page.
Best regards, Rob.

Re: Russische Antonov naar Volkel
according the Soviet Transports Database:
Basic type An-30
C/n 1307
Full type Reg / serial / code Operator / Colour Scheme First reported Remarks
An-30 "01" red Russian Air Force Ckl 22aug03 l/n Voronezh-Baltimor 19aug06 and Kubinka 22mar08 with 'Open Skies' titles; reported as 01 "black"; same aircraft? l/n WAW 25aug08
found also this picture so maybe same aircraft: http://www.airliners.net/photo/Russia-- ... id=1100579" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Hello All,
Between 11:45 and 12:00 I saw possibly this Antonov overhead Drachten into the direction of Leeuwarden. Can anyone confirm that this aircraft has flown this route?
Thanks in advance,
Jan Fillekes

Re: Russische Antonov naar Volkel
Just to confirm 01 black is 1307, not because some database says so, no, I had it read off yesterday on the base.

...that's the spirit...I prefer myself to check the c/n also if it is possible (even when it is already known)...specially with Russian ones.xm717 wrote:Just to confirm 01 black is 1307, not because some database says so, no, I had it read off yesterday on the base.

Well done xm717
Thanks for clearing this up. I am just curious about two things...
1. Where was the c/n positioned?
2. Does anyone know the unit (besides open skies) this antonov belongs to?
Thanks in advance.
