This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

Today I went to Gilze-Rijen AB to spot the AN-124. Around 12.30LT we heard that she was delayed until 17.00LT, so I went to the Slopes.

The S-441:

I never crop (or shop) my photo's on Scramble. Not even this one; only with 60mm! The pilot pulled his Cougar to my side, and even without my cameralens I could see the big smile on the face of the loadmaster. Thx guys, you made my day
Unfortunately no Antonov for me. Had a great (and rainy) day though. I think I'll return this evening, if big mom is going home...
Regards,
Sven

Nice shots!
Wondered one thing on the shot above. What is the flat bit below the left rockets (on the tail/fuselage) Camera/light or something?

Thanx 2 all of you for your comments.
And some from my side (again). Took the pics this evening. Made some shots of her departure too, but they aren't worth posting...
Took me a while, but I realy like this one (excluding the container...):
Enough for today!

It is sharp, Apache as subject though not totally visible which gives it a kinda exciting "pose".
Like the lights aswell!

I'd rather depict atmosphere and the 'heat of the moment' making a catchy photo than to reflect the real situation and real colours showing a boring photo.

Nice shots.
@bramos: the An124 came to pick up two Apache helicopters. Next week the AN124 will come back to bring two other Apache helicopters back (as read in this topic by Eric van Lisdonk (page 2).

Hi all (yes, it's me again ),
Yesterday, while I was waiting for the Antonov, I took some shots of this AH-64D. Unfortunately I deleted some of them
However, today (with some help of my dad) I could recover them with a program called PC Inspector. Hope you like them.
Regards,
Sven
