5 minutes ago (13.55) overhead Aalten, Achterhoek: one German Tornado, at low level and nicely banking in the sun. Flying more or less from east to west.

Anybody for the number?

Thanks Blackbird but I doubt if it was that one. I guess that, being an ECR version, 46+50 is painted in the light grey c/s. The one I saw was clearly in the dark green c/s. The sun lit up the aircraft while it banked right in front of my office window (where fighters are a very rare sight unfortunately...).

Today, Friday 16 Januari, around 9.45h LT a Dutch Navy Lynx came overhead my home in Muiden. Looks like it was heading in the direction of Amsterdam. Any one outthere who can tie-up the serial?

Some ten minutes ago a heavy cargo plane (sounds like that) passed my house, heading east/southeast.
Location is IJsselstein.
Possible An-12 from Schiphol or a mil.cargo one?
Normally not often military planes flying these civil routes directions inbound/outbound Schiphol..

Anyone?

Now straight over my house in Venray, one C-17 from the South to the North at 16.40 hours lt.

Someone a clue which one this could be?

Edit: Again a C-17 from South to North at 16.55 hours lt.

It looked like they were flying a little lower than normal and were still climbing, so that's why
I am curious.
