AgustaWestland AW139 PH-EAA

AgustaWestland AW139 31141 PH-EAA CHC Helicopters Netherlands, Den Helder, registered on 4 November 2008.

As mentioned in Airnieuws 464 and in the Helispot of Scrambe 353: this registration is just for the ferryflight factory-Kazachstan.

If it's a ferry from the factory in Italy to Kazachstan, why does it have a dutch reg?

Hello all,

The helicopter is in Den Helder indeed. However I only saw this helicopter being towed to the spot and back into his hangar again. It is not jet on scheduled flights as far as i know.

the PHEAA is ferried to EHRD two weeks ago! I do not know its location now

Last time i saw the helicopter was about two weeks ago. So it could be very well @RTM today. If it should pop up at EHKD again you'll be informed.

Current location is the JetNetherlands hangar at Rotterdam airport. In full CHC colors....(It can be seen trough the windows in the door next to Erasmus catering service) I think it is being prepared for its ferry-flight to Kazachstan..

PS according to DSML/Henk Wadman it was still at RTM on 06-12 (I saw it last at 05-12)

Om 13.55 vanmiddag stond de heli op b1 te draaien en daarna weer uitgezet. Ik kon niet blijven kijken of ze vertrokken ivm werk.

I have been told by CHC-ops that this helicopter will be registered in the Netherlands Antilles and will receive its new registration next week before leaving for Kazachstan. Have no idea yet when it will leave Den Helder Airport. I will try to keep you informed.

The Aruban register reports the registration of an AW139 as P4-CHC.
