Will there be any flying operations at the 29th of december ?
I'm mostly interested in the fighters.
I want to combinate this trip with a trip to Ramstein.

Inspections and repairs of Moody A-10Cs at Spang

Post by J.J. »

There's an interesting news article on Spang's public website: http://www.spangdahlem.af.mil/news/stor ... =123128207" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Please note the sentence: When all the repairs and inspections are complete, Spangdahlem will send the aircraft back to their deployed locations. (That only means Bagram AB, Afghanistan. And the big question is: WHEN these jets would be fixed? The next swap of A-10s at Bagram AB is already expected for mid-January 2009. But if they stay at Spang for some more weeks, they also could fly back to Moody from Spang via Lajes.

Please sharp your eyes and ears for their departure!

Hi Elmar and Cristian,

Were the 'FT' A-10's flying or did you guys have a visit?? :shock:
We got followed by a German police van when the first A-10 took off so we left for Ramstein. :cry:
