Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

EHGR 18-11-'08 nightflying with the KNVOL/GRAS
Hi all,
Yesterday I went, with the KNVOL, to Gilze-Rijen airbase. Unfortunately I had to go to school in the morning, so I only have the shot's of the nightflying exercises.
At 21.00 the KNVOL left, however, I could stay with the guys of GRAS: and I loved it. Thank's for this great experience to all of you!
Note: nothing has been cropt or shopt.

Couldn't help posting one, too. Check out the dashboard :
Many thanks to the BIC staff and GRAS for organizing, let's hope it can be arranged a second (and third, and fourth...) time! Preferably with full moon and/or a starry night...
Mazzels,
Rob

Hi guys,
A bit late for my contribution, but as I have been away from home I was unable to upload anything.
It was nice to see that GRAS and BIC had taken the time and effort to show us around at night, which was highly appreciated by all of us. Unfortunately the expectations and needs of the GRAS group did not match the program presented to the photographers, so I think a thorough debriefing might help out the organizing committee in setting up a similar event on a future occasion.
I will be happy to share my views and experience with both GRAS and BIC, but face to face and not here at this messageboard.
Below you will find my only fair shot of the spottersnight, and I'm not really satisfied with it (out of focus due to lack of contrast).
Oh, and for the number crunchers: This AH-64D was the Q-09, as read off from my photo...... (how is that for a nigh shot ?!)
Cheers,
Iwan
