Hi Ivo,

I read somewhere else that Sun Country is in "Chapter 11".
Could anyone confirm this???....

So i hope that Transavia could lease their 738's to this airline.

Michel

Mipo 72,

It's right, Sun Country is in Chapter 11, you can read it here:

http://www.luchtvaartnieuws.nl/news/?id=28040

I hope you are Dutch because I don't have an English version. But it has something to do with the holding Petters Group, they are involved in a fraud case.

Somthing else, is the ETD of the KAF308 alreay known or has the plane already left the airport?

When nothing goes right.......go left.

I think they need the planes now for the new activities from Danmark to the sun (Read Luchtvaartnieuws today). How they will do it next summer? Lease more planes as usual?

Not possible IMO.I thought they can lease a maximum of aircraft and crew (ACMI) that is "vastgelegd in CAO" of th HV crew.
Sorry for the dutch, Don't know the english translation

Maybe flying a so called W-pattern. RTM-FCO-BLL-FCO-RTM or someting like that? The same with Tenerife... AMS-TFS-BLL-TFS-AMS. Just an option. ;)

Next summer hasn't been deceided yet what to do in Denmark. As for now 1 plane will be based in BLL, from December 8th 2 planes in CPH.

In 2009 we will receive new 737's from Boeing, maybe the older ones will stay in the fleet?

What about "agreed with the working unions" :) . To go ontopic: according to yesterday's RTVNH's teletekst service (for as much as that can be trusted) the Danmark operation can be done because in the winter Transavia has more aircraft available.
