[quote="jaah"]Hi
I will be going to CIAF this year for the first time. Does anyone have any hints or tips about where it's good to take pictures from or other things that might be nice to know.
Thanks

Hi Jonas,
I wondered if this would help, check my report on last years Air Fest on
the UK Site airsceneuk under listings on the home page, 'Brno report'.
I and friends are going this year, so if you need any tips other than
what I reported please ask.
proost, Gary Watson.

1. Don't bother about the press badge, it won't give you much extra except a free parking spot close to the entrance.
2. You're staring into the sun so don't expect amazing picture quality. If I had to do it again, I would try to find a nice spot outside the airfield during the afternoon (e.g. to get some landing shots).

Brno trip.
Hi There, Austria,
The Hotel Grand in Brno is where we stay, which is easy for the bus-
shuttle up to the show. They have a web-site at the following address.
http://www.grandhotelbrno.cz" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and e-mails at reservation@grandhotelbrno.cz
Hope this helps.
Regards, WireFow, UK.

Brno Air Fest
Has anyone got a clue what time we can expect the flypast of the Czech AF? Is it in the morning at the opening or somewhere around noon?

Anyone knows B&B or cheap hotels near Brno? I'm willing to go to CIAF 2008 with other 2 friends.
I know there are really cheap and good B&B but not able to find them out...
