Something else, if it's the wrong topic then please move it in that case.

Did id ever occured that a RNLAF F-16 or German Tornado's/F-4F's did a touch and go at De Kooy? Personally I think it's a bunch of lariekoek but somebody thinks he saw that, and I actually just want to know if he's right or not.

I've seen a picture about a belgian F-16 doing a touch-and-go at De Kooy, will try to find out when it happened.

Hi Raptor,

According to a "specialist" this happened somewhere in 1992. Aircraft involved was a Dutch F-16.

I don't know wether it actually "touched-and-went", but during a base visit on November 12th, 2002 we had J-885 of 323 Sqn doing at least a low approach on runway 22 at 1525lt. I don't have photoproof; we were waiting for our tourguide in the messhall at the time and watched the whole thing through the window. I never realised that this is not a common sight at De Kooij...

Low approaches are not that uncommon, that happens more often then a tg. Oscar posts that ones more often (most of the friendly lady posts are about these things, I guess). But the belgian I was talking about was touching, the picture I remember, (but couldn't find back, up till now) showed the smoke coming off the tyres. If Oscar found a dutch back in '92, then I think it has happened more than once.

Diamond05 PC-7 L-01 and Diamond13 L-13 131Emvo Sq crossed the CTR heading for EHTX. Most likely they made an approach at EHKD.

On their way back to EHWO Diamond13 changed his callsign into Diamond15.

According to the system: L-13 made a full stop. Don't know about L-01 though.
