Great shots from Swiss. You were really lucky with the Austrian F-5's. The other ones went to Emmen?

Hi Wim,

Not entirely certain about destination of other F-5's Through the grapevine at Payerne -fellow spotters- we heared that two more were expected to go to Payerne and rest to Emmen later this week

Apparently 10 will rejoin the Swiss on active duty :P

How about the text on the nose of the J-3079: "Last Pilot School Class on F-5 Tiger"? Are no more pilots trained on the F-5?

This four F5s should have gone to Emmen, but due to runway repairs the airport was (is?) closed.
The remaining eight aircraft should return this week or next week, with no plans yet about there future.

All 12 were expected to go to Emmen because the RUAG factory is there. About 6 aircrafts going to Payerne this week because Emmen is still closed due to construction and maintenance of runway. The other 2 coming directly from Austria to Emmen.

Anyway 2 Gripen doubleseater coming to Emmen from 28th July to 22th August for testflights (evaluation of tiger replacement).
