Are there any other air displays, besides this flypast, on the Friday? Or are the displays only on the weekend?

TIA

The Super Hornets that are also expected at Fairford are already at Farnborough. Don't know if it was already mentioned somewhere on the Scramblesite so just to make sure :

They are:

166662/AD-275 F/A-18F VFA-106 'Gladiators' :D

Oops,

And the credit for the Super Hornet is: UKAR forum.

They also mentioned the arrival of a B-52H as Scalp99 but this one has been delayed till tomorrow.

Are the display schedules different on Saturday and Sunday? Thinking about going to Duxford's Flying Legends on Saturday and to RIAT on Sunday...

Is this a stupid idea for any reason? Or should it be doable?

TIA

As said before, at least three different displays will fly just one day. Saturday only PdF, Belgian F-16, A-380, and I thought also the Indian Sarang helicopter team would fly at saturday only.

Sunday you'll have the Blue Eagles. Don't remember the other ones, just read the topic, you'll find it. Edit It is handled just before your first post

Yes, the program is slightly different on both days.

Saturday Only:
- Belgian F-16
- Patrouille de France
- Airbus A-380-800

Sunday Only:
- Blue Eagles
- Sarang
- Slovenian PC-9M

Also, the show is to be opened by the Escadrilha de Fumaca on both days, and the F-22 demo is scheduled around 18:00.

Aviodromefriend, thanks for the response. I did skim through the entire post before, but did not remember any specifics.

Joe Kurr, nice to know my brazilian friends will be opening the show! Just hope their current presentation is up to the standards of the old times... have not seen them perform for some years already!

I would really like to see the Belgian Viper and the PDF, but it looks like I will be there on Sunday...

Thanks all!

Only on saturday the show is opened by the Brazilians. On sunday the show is opened by Los Halcones according to the official site.

At the SIS-updates you tell about the German Seaking passing through De Kooy on its way to Fairford. Is this changed, or was this one victim of some :cleaning: of a very long list of movements you found for posting here? (Just curious, do I have to stand up early tomorrow)

:confie: To clear things up: the above mentioned arrivals are IFR, the Sea King is VFR. Please take a look at EHKD movements and you'll find your answer
