Went to see the F-104G and NF-5B in Zwolle after visiting the KLu Open Dagen but much to our surprise there was also an F-16 fuselage with the NF-5. It said 'mock up' on one of the panels on the nose so might be a purpose built instructional airframe though.
If this does happen to be a real F-16, does anyone have the serial?
Thanks,
Koen

Hi Koen,
I've seen the F-16 without tail too on 17 June (while the NF-5B K-4012 was moved from the old to the new technical school building).
The F-16 was not present in the old technical school building when I visited in 2006.
On the 17th the F-16 was standing on an 'oplegger'.
I can't help you (and myself) with the serial.
Regards,

They're visible from the outside yes. Enter the Mozartlaan from the Zwartewaterallee and take the first to the left. When the buildings end on your right side the NF-5 and F-16 are on the corner inside the last building, easily visible through the windows.
Don't forget the nearby F-104 at the Buitengasthuisstraat.

F-16 Rig
Hello
The F-16 fuselage is problebly build from several Bits & Pieces found thru the years at the Fokkerplant.
There are some stories that this has to be aan fuselage from The States.
One off the both stories are thru. So a serial would not be found.
It's former LETS, NLR Markernesse.

Re: REQ: Wrecks & relics in Zwolle
Hi,
Passed the Deltion-college two weeks ago. The F-104G D-8268 is now preserved in front of the new building at the crosspoint Mozartlaan/Zwartewaterallee.
Through the windows the NF-5B (K-4012) and F-16A could be seen. Still no identity for this F-16?
A small (number)plate could be seen, unfortunately no possibility to read off from outside through the window...
Hope anyone got the oppertunity to look inside the building.....
Regards,
Maurits

The F-16 has no real identity.maurits wrote: Through the windows the NF-5B (K-4012) and F-16A could be seen. Still no identity for this F-16?
Its a purpose build instructional airframe made from spares.
It used to be with the KLu school at Woensdrecht.
