Most of the Time the F18 that will fly at Fairford is arranged by Boeing and they loan a plane from one of the squadrons.( it's Navy sorry
Only the B1's are listed don't see any B52's in that list the B52 and B1 are both confirmed for FF

So at least the Bone should be on this list for RIAT, like it is for example for ILA.hammie wrote:aviodromefriend wrote:What about the bombers at RIAT, I don't see them on this listing (same for Sanicole, where according to the Leeuwarden forum the B-1 should make a flyby,)

And yep, the Super Hornets at RIAT are up till now leased back Navy machines. I wasn't talking about them, I meant B-1 and B-52. I rate the Super Hornet as a fighter primariarly.
BTW mind the -, it's really part of the US system of designation

Guys, its a list of all the official Demonstration teams aircraft the Air Combat Command is performing with... does not say anything about other kind of participation during events outside the airdisplays of the officials teams.
May well be that RIAT performances have no connection with the offical demo teams...

I don't think so.Wijgert IJlst wrote:Guys, its a list of all the official Demonstration teams aircraft the Air Combat Command is performing with... does not say anything about other kind of participation during events outside the airdisplays of the officials teams.

If you reed what is in the top of that article, you see how performances from the official demonstration teams are mentioned on the list. In the list are also some other participants, for instance like the B-1 at ILA Berlin, T-38 flyby's and appearances of the B-2. So these are not official display teams.
