Just like when driving a car and use a map, aircraft also use 'maps'.
(And most have computers to program the route you fly....)

Bye, Chris.

Today the 28th PH-BXN flew two flights for Trans. Think this is an incident and not a leased aircraft (yet).

Hi

Luchtvaartnieuws mentions June 16, 2008 as delivery date for the first A320-200 for Amsterdam Airlines (PH-AAX)

Cheers,

It might get stickers at AMS.

Also:

The slotcoordination website shows two positioning flights with B739 equipment to AMS:

May 15th as FUA091 ex PMI 14:30 UTC

Jun 25th as FUA091 ex PMI 14:30 UTC

It also shows the departure of a B739 to LGW on May 24th as FUA 492.

This might give us a clue when to expect the Futura 737-900's at Schiphol.

Bye, Chris.

Boeing 737-96NER:

(Futura should be back in summer 2008 with two aircraft:)

EC-KQQ (32559/2559) leased summer 2008 (Apr - Sep), regi/msn assumed.
EC-... (?????) leased summer 2008 (Jun - Dec)
EC-KQQ is msn 35223/2559
EC-KQR is msn 32559/2590

Both aircraft delivered last week to Futura / PMI.
I guess these 2 will go into service with ArkeFly.

No further info on this...

Bye, Chris.
KVC is now in her Phase-out program @ AMS. Is scheduled to be converted to Freighter (no details yet about the configuration) and should join Miniliner, Italy.

KVD is going the same route.

Both aircraft will be fitted with an E-class interior and large cargo door as on the PH-LMA and -LMB.

As far as I can see the PH-KVC is still flying, at least flights planned tomorrow. I think PH-KVD made it's last flight on the 6th of May as KL1753/1754 to/from BRE. No flights after this date.

(4) It must have a means to exclude hazardous quantities of smoke,
flames, or noxious gases from entering the flight crew compartment.

(5) Required crew emergency exits must be accessible under all cargo
loading conditions.
