Tribute to the Flash and the Streak
I am looking forward to see your Whisky Four Streaks , Rob ! I think yours are sharper than mine !
in the meantime I will proceed with the selection of pictures that I had in mind to show:
frequently Eindhoven AB was visited by Thunderstreaks of other NATO countries such as this one from the Italian Air Force , pictured on August 29th , 1968 . I got the negative of this picture via swopping.

Tribute to the Flash and the Streak
Eindhoven based Thunderstreaks often paid visits to other airfields such as Soesterberg , where P-189 was photographed on March 26th , 1970

P-170 formed part of the Philips Wonderland expo. in Eindhoven in 1970 , a few days after this particular aircraft was withdrawn from use .

mmm, that makes senceJavindo50 wrote:Of course, but that should be a new topic: some old Thunderflash stuff.Polleke_NL wrote:Does anyone also happen to have pics of the RF-84F Thunderflash ?
But why not rename this to (R)F-84F Thunderstreak/-flash thread ? Then at least it would keep the forum nice and tidy (and life easy for me )

A good idea to add the Thunderflash to this topic , being the reconnaissance version of the Streak !
I have also got some nice pics of the RF in my archive like this one taken at Soesterberg on March 10,1970.

Nice pictures guys, show the pictures to my dad, former 314 and 311 pilot on the streak, I have a few small pictures of his bellylanding with a F84F, will soon post them here.
I wonder if there is somebody who have pictures of the F84F with a instructor sitting next to the pilot during taxi? What I know is that they did taxitraining with a seat hanging on the right or left side of the cockpit. Is very funny to see.
