Hi,
Being a regular tax-payer I vote for giving someone within the RNLAF the task to regularly update the official website.
I think it is sad that the majority of the participants have adjusted their own site but the RNLAF has not mentioned them yet... So much for a warm welcome...?
The event is 2 months from now... how hard can it be?
Greetings,
Stefan

You are right about the RNLAF homepage.
Further the OV-10 "Bronco" is confirmed for the flying display.
More to come, so keep smiling!

Stefan,
I understood this week that the (old) content management system that feeds the website is very labour intensive. Adding just a simple new participant cost at least one hour or so. There comes by that it has to be done by the same small group of people that showed a lot of us around during Frisian Flag and they have other agenda's as well (like organizing a spottersday on the arrival day for example .... no further info at this moment yet....). So this tax payer says, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

Hi Frank,
Greetings,
Stefan
I guess this year's theme 'INNOVATIE in mens en materieel' is pretty appropriate thenFrankCrebas wrote:I understood this week that the (old) content management system that feeds the website is very labour intensive. Adding just a simple new participant cost at least one hour or so.
I am not dissing individuals (really enjoyed the spottersday last Wednesday) but thinking about pleasing the participants and generating as large an audience as possible. It is a large scale event so it should be staffed accordingly!FrankCrebas wrote:There comes by that it has to be done by the same small group of people that showed a lot of us around during Frisian Flag and they have other agenda's as well (like organizing a spottersday on the arrival day for example .... no further info at this moment yet....). One small request / wish for these open-days @ Leeuwarden. Maybe it is possible not to “box up” the hardware in the shelter area, like last time in 2006.
B.t.w. all foreign (military) hardware is welcome, some nice Vipers from the S-E corner of the Mediterranean.
But any (other) exotic F-16 will do for me
