Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

I was at the Polderbaan between 16:00 en 17:20. I'm starting to like the polderbaan more then the Kaagbaan. Due to the bycilce track you aren't restraint to one photo position. You can walk up and down. From abeam the touchdown zone to the snack cars.
The only bad thing is that you sometime see the traffic using the center runway. But if you wait like 3 or 4 airplanes, they start using the polderbaan again.

I just noticed that it's sensor cleaning time.

First posting
Hi all,
My first posting here, hope you like my little contribution from yesterday afternoon.
1. 18C (for the short time it was in use at around 16.30 or so).
2. Just crossed the Hoofdvaart.
3. Location speaks for itself I would say.
Greetz,
Hans

Hiya Margreet,
Welcome to the forum.
When posting, first have a look if there's already a topic you can use.
In this case, there is a topic for this date, so i assume a moderator will merge your topic with the older topic (and delete this reply).
The 'search' function on this forum can assist you in this.
Your pics look slightly overexposed on my screem, but that might be only on my screen...
Enjoy the forum, Chris.

is the fifth B747 the same as they used in the carshow 'Topgear'?? When they drive cars in the show, i always see such an aircraft standing in the back, a white plain with the same blue tail. They also did something with an VW touraeg..
Not very in to the civil stuff, so maybe this is a very stupid question, i that case, forgive me!!

nope. The 747 used by top gear has B52 style dummy engines fitted (for the last James bond movie i think)and isn't in a flying condition.Jan Dijkstra wrote:is the fifth B747 the same as they used in the carshow 'Topgear'?? Well, the overexposure is been taking care of by using a UV filter on the bigma.
Later shots you all can see the results of that.
Thanks for your responses!
Grtz,
Margreet
p.s. I am aware of the date of this topic and maybe there is already such a topic, but because its pretty far in the past, I decided to post a new topic.
