Red Flag 08-2.2, February 2008.

Post by IrishAirPics »

Hi Guys,

I was at the media day that was held on Feb 14th at Nellis for the latest edition of Red Flag (2008-2.2), sample pictures are attached, I've also included a few pictures taken from outside the base on other days IwWas as sick as a small hospital on the day but held it together long enough to snap some pictures, more pictures will follow hopefully in the next few days. For the pedantic few of you out there the Super Hornets were not part of the Red Flag exercise but were in Nellis on other business.

Full report & more pictures available here:

Frank.

CGI.... I've been found out, where's the delete button!

Thanks guys, I appreciate the feedback. Some of those Raptors do look like they're CGI, especially the first one, looks like someone went around the outline of the thrust vectoring nozzles with a black pencil.

Frank.
