Hallo Scramblers,

Hi Alex,
Your procedure looks very familiar. I only check my pictures via PhotoMechanic first and delete all photo's that are technical not OK.
Regarding your adjustments, I personally do like the crop and sharpening bur think that the blue of the sky is slightly too light and blue for my taste.
Regards,
Anno

Very true, I've seen photos as is, with just sharpening with pretty dull, but very natural colors and the POW (sounds like something from batman ) colors.Redskin301 wrote:Maybe true, but allmost everything in photography is about personal taste of the photographer. I experienced this air that blue on the particular day But it is not about the example photo but about the way of working, sow please show me your WoW and we can discus the details

Digi: raw conversion with as much dynamics as possible (black and white points), the rest as neutral as can be.
Analogue: scan slide with same goals.
Then noise suppression if needed, crop/level and sometimes an initial resize.
Next is further tonal procession (light & dark, contrast), mainly with curves or shadow/highlight. Tend to use curves more and more, is a nice basic but powerful tool. Careful use of levels, in order not to throw away any info.
After this, colour corrections if necessary. The result is saved.
Finally: resize for intended use, convert to 8 bits (from 16), sharpening (USM in steps) en save with certain profile. This is done separately for each intended use.

What four words, Jimmy!?!
