Old slides are fun!
Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

Old slides are fun!
Hi,
After seeing Franks good results with his old slides, I decided to work some of mine as well. All scans were made with the same Nikon scanner and after that edited in Photoshop. Actually real fun to do and nice to see some of my old slides again, makes me wanna digitalize all my slides..
Jordan 1999: we spend a whole day at the F-5 base of the Jordan Air Force. Great memories!

Hi,
Some more to bore you with:
Somewhere over France. Had some difficulty getting the colors reasonable on this one. Light condictions where rather stranger during this flight (scattered clouds, greenish window..)
More Polish Fitters:

old slides are fun
Indeed fun to do! Last weekend I brought just a couple of my old slides to a friend of mine who has the Nikon scanner, to see how it works. I edited them in photoshop at home. Here are two of them, also one in bad weather but the Buff makes good for that I think?

USA trip
Yeah, should really invest more time in digitizing the analog stuff (and maybe spend some euros on high end scanning equipment). These are shots that were taken during my first USA trip, which I still consider to be my best vacation ever.
Los Alamitos AAF, July 1999 (yes, EH-60 )
MCAS Miramar, July 1999 (Sunday afternoon, nice and quiet till the agressors suddenly took off )
NAS North Island, July 1999 (on my 22nd birthday! )
Nellis AFB, July 1999 (still haven't figured out yet how we managed to get a tour here )
NAF El Centro, July 1999 (in July this place can be vewy vewy hot )
Hope you like them. Somehow, for me the memories are even more valuable than the pictures...
