EDLF is situated near Grefrath which is a few kilometers from Venlo.
It's a small airfield with two parallel grass runways, one for gliders and the other one for the rest.
During the summer there is also some parachuting.

Nice indeed! The Yak is not in the EMOOS; is it based here? If so I will drop by somewhere in the near future....
Thanks!

Is there any reason for the 78th Fighter Group paintjob that it´s carrying??

That piece that you call something of a stearman is actualy the right engine cover of an aircraft like that white biplane D-EEDW (it's actualy a Stampe acording to this website http://www.aeroweb.de/search/?stype=reg ... 2b7a15dbeb)

if you look at those pictures you see it has the same mouning points, Intake piece and shape...

Grtz

I was talking about the D-EEDW.... The Kiebitz is based there, there are numerous pictures of it on the web taken at Niershorst, but I am interested in the SV.4.

The pilot of the SV.4 arrived on a motorbike.

So it probably IS based here. Then my next question will be: was it a military one? Apparently the c/n is 245; I am hoping it flew with the French AF
