I never said it was good to post stuff like that did I?

Then again - if I post that two Israeli F-15Is have just landed at Florennes, that doesn't make it so either.

Based on the information of yesterday evening I had to cancel my trip to Florennes. If the posted information is not valid I would be very disappointed and would urge all people who post information to do this only if the information is reliable. Less reliable information can be posted ofcourse (not everything is black and white) but at least include in the posting the source and some indication how reliable or unreliable the posting is.
Kind Regards,
Theo
1. Dear Piet (moderator); maybe this is your task ;-) Please ban Triple X from this Forum, it is obvious he posted misleading and wrong information with full intention, just to destroy other's luck (like poor Theo  )

However, I would like to point out the following regarding Theos posting:

"Based on the information of yesterday"
-> Dear Theo, there was one strange posting of TripleX, but also an answer by me yesterday evening and also today giving all the information you wanted. If you believe a very strange information from a 4-postings-only-person, it's up to you ...

"all people"
-> Dear Theo, do not over-generalize: There was only one person giving obviously wrong information, while a lot of other people do a good job here

"and some indication how reliable or unreliable the posting is."
-> Dear Theo, you have responsiblity for your own (spotter) life, and you have - like all others here - to decide by yourselves what to believe and how reliable you would judge it (4-postings, strange message, well, I would not believe an Triple X). At least you should read also the answers given to your questions, and of course the answers do not appear within a few seconds. If you post a question, have a look in the forum after a few hours ...

by the way, the scramble TLP page created my Piet and me describes exactly that there is no way to predict if the TLP is going to fly before the flying day has begun. Only after weather briefing on the day, the descision or cancellation is made. Not on a SUNDAY EVENING!!!

Thanks to this forum, GODs help, fortune and and also for taking the full risk of every TLP day, I saw the following today: some 13 local F-16s, 20 TLP aircraft, 5 additional EF-18s, two Spanish Support aircraft ...

So not at all "All flights are cancelled" ...

Good luck to Theo and all others, hope weather will be with you until the end of the flying course!

(notes: after more than a month without attractive aviation activity for me, it was of course the TLP which pulled me to an airbase once again. Because of lack of time during the first two weeks of this TLP cource due to job and family constraints, I finally found the needed time on a day blessed by rather nice but very cool and windy late-autumn weather.
In spite of a confusing message in the TLP forum, but thanks to good information sources and after a thorough weather check plus fast posting of helpful information in the message board, I took the risk and made the two-hour journey to the Ardennes - all alone, as trying to contact my favourite rural fellow spotter collegue via phone did not succeed ...
Luckily, activity on the TLP ramp began well in time and the impressive mass-launch saw all my aircraft of interest going airborne - with the four Italian AV-8s and the two Italian Typhoons plus the two German F-4s beeing my personal highlights. All other aircraft were welcome too of course and could be well enjoyed when recovering later that afternoon.
A nice addition were the seven (!) Spanish aicraft noted that day, consisting of no less than five EF-18s and two transports. All thise made up for another nice day at and thanks to “Superbase” Florennes!)

I saw an message on MSF that the F-16D 90-0796 AV is still present at Florennes. Also the Spanish arrived with an EF-18B. Are those twinseaters also participating in the TLP?

Typo? All the B-models carry CE as prefix.

It's only too bad they always send the same one just like now.
