by the way, the scramble TLP page created my Piet and me describes exactly that there is no way to predict if the TLP is going to fly before the flying day has begun. Only after weather briefing on the day, the descision or cancellation is made. Not on a SUNDAY EVENING!!!
Thanks to this forum, GODs help, fortune and and also for taking the full risk of every TLP day, I saw the following today: some 13 local F-16s, 20 TLP aircraft, 5 additional EF-18s, two Spanish Support aircraft ...
So not at all "All flights are cancelled" ...
Good luck to Theo and all others, hope weather will be with you until the end of the flying course!

(notes: after more than a month without attractive aviation activity for me, it was of course the TLP which pulled me to an airbase once again. Because of lack of time during the first two weeks of this TLP cource due to job and family constraints, I finally found the needed time on a day blessed by rather nice but very cool and windy late-autumn weather.
In spite of a confusing message in the TLP forum, but thanks to good information sources and after a thorough weather check plus fast posting of helpful information in the message board, I took the risk and made the two-hour journey to the Ardennes - all alone, as trying to contact my favourite rural fellow spotter collegue via phone did not succeed ...
Luckily, activity on the TLP ramp began well in time and the impressive mass-launch saw all my aircraft of interest going airborne - with the four Italian AV-8s and the two Italian Typhoons plus the two German F-4s beeing my personal highlights. All other aircraft were welcome too of course and could be well enjoyed when recovering later that afternoon.
A nice addition were the seven (!) Spanish aicraft noted that day, consisting of no less than five EF-18s and two transports. All thise made up for another nice day at and thanks to “Superbase” Florennes!)

For me the discussion is closed and hope for a few days with decent weather condtions.
