This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |
Dubai spotting (photo heavy)
Together with Marko S. I made a visit to the Dubai airshow. The show was from Nov 11-15, we were there from Nov 13-15. The Show itself is not huge but for us spotters the good thing is that it is on the Int. airport grounds and you are standing close to the runways. This is an impression of the normal traffic that was seen during those mornings (the airport was closed for traffic during the flying display in the afternoon).
Very white but this is the EK-74713
Also very white but this is the A6-GDP the horse carrier of the Emir
Leased from Pegasus
Leased from XL Germany
The last day we stood direct in the landing
The registration is in grey just below the tail surface ZS-GAT
That is it for now, more in the coming days if you guys like em.

There are just a few A320's which have 8 wheels at the back, that A320's are operating mainly in the Mid-East.Jurrien wrote:[img]

Re: Dubai spotting (photo heavy)
The Double Main Bogies are ONLY operated by Indian AL. They have 20 or so with this landing near (next to normal ones). Initially, these were developed for the Indian Airports with less than good (...) infrastructure. No other airline ever ordered these, so to see them, you will need to go to India and surrounding countries. They also frequently visit Bangkok and Singapore.FlyTheWorld wrote:There are just a few A320's which have 8 wheels at the back, that A320's are operating mainly in the Mid-East.Jurrien wrote:[img]
