Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. I prefer the military side of aviation, and I must say that you see quite a lot of that at Calgary.
To TinTin, my favourite is also the C-17, or CC-177 as they like to call it here.

Very nice photos of the C-17!!
What a huge airfield Calgary is! Looking at it on Google Earth also reveals a lot of military activity, at least at the time the sattelite took its pictures. In the southwest corner three MH-53's, a CT-142, a Hawk, two Griffons (by the looks of it), and two white-roofed unidentified choppers. Nice!

I think that pic was taken when Calgary hosted the G8 a couple of years ago.
They even had AF1 at the airport.
