Just back from a nice trip in Greece, but i still need some serials
can anybody help me with the serials of these 24 stored F-5's
There are also two preserved in special color on base, one on the flightline, one preserved at the gate and two in front of a shelter at the beginning of the runway.
So in total 30x F-5's seen on thessaloniki, but not 30 serials
Thx
Dino

Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

Wasn´t that pic taken from an aircraft? Does not seem wise to walk around a Greek military airbase with a photocamera.

I always say a boy can learn more at an airport than at any school.

When I made short stop there this spring they explicitly told us that taking pictures was forbidden during taxying and parking and for half an hour they kept on 'patrolling' the aircraft... I did see loads of CL-215's, a taxying C-47 , an Mi-26 and preserved F-5's as well as what appeared to be an F-84...
