Hello,

I've planned to go to Eindhoven tomorrow. The main goal is to see the F-16's and PAF Herc. I heard that the F-16's are flying three missions a day.
Can somebody give me the times of the departements (and arrivals)?
If you have, please make clear this times are local or zulu.

Thanks in advance!

Blackbird,

As the F-16 flights are part of an operational evaluation (OPEVAL) exercise, these times are not known. According to messages at the EWAS forum (http://www.ewas.nl/eforum" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;), the first wave took off at 8.00 local this morning.

Perhaps we meet tomorrow (somewhere near runway 04), as I am probably going to have a look as well.

Regards, Rogier

This was posted at EWAS earlier this week, and I think it makes sense:

Zelfs de verkeersleiding hoort het soms pas 20 minuten vantevoren dat ze gaan vertrekken. Bovendien zijn de draaiboeken ook onderhevig aan veranderingen. Met andere woorden, exacte tijden of zelfs tijden tot een uur nauwkeurig zijn niet te geven.

Translated:
Even air traffic control sometimes learns of departure-intentions just 20 minutes in advance. Furthermore, OPEVAL's [excercise]scenarios are subject to change. I.o.w., exact times, or even approximate times, cannot be given.

But to give you an example of what could happen; the times of the first departures of Wednesday's missions:
morning mission: 0800lt
afternoon mission: 1315lt
night mission: 1910lt

Happy "hunting"!

Regards,

Stephan

We're in for a noisy evening again: Cobras, Polly's, Nasty's, Killers, all airborne for an OPEVAL-nightmission, all heading north into the country.

Edit: most, if not all, returned to base by 2225lt.

Regards,

Stephan

Where did you find this information? The slotallocationlist doesn't mention this flight.
