Forum rules
ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Holy s**t, that's cool !

I'm sure you're happy to have moved from Dutch F-16's to Bolivia's T-33's. ;-)

Cheers,
Iwan

or
"The sun wasn't shining, I do not take photo's on those days anyway" :||O:

me, I think you are a lucky son of a gun.
("mig , Jeg mene du er en heldig søn i en gevær." ((which problably is a stupid translation))

Hi again,

First of all thanks a lot for the interest

I will continue the torture a bit and even though the weather was ==censored== for photography most of the motives were quite OK.

The event was not really as I expected, it has been quite hard to get precise info about what was going to happen here. Friday (12/10) was the actual 50 years anniversary for the Bolivian Air Force. It was marked with a parade at El Trompillo with the fly-past of the attempted T-33 diamond 9. 4 PC-7s, 4 T-34s and 4 T-35s. No announcement on anything so the PC-7s actually came when I was sitting inside a Curtiss Commander, and the T-33s only arrived after the speaker had told everything was over and asked people to leave :?

The expected presentation of the MA-60s turned out to be a 'new' Casa 212 instead. There was a photo of one TAM MA-60 in China though. Arrival expected mid November this year.

Saturday (and Sunday) it turned out there was a open day at III Brigada Aérea so I had to postpone my departure back to La Paz.

Enough talk, on with a few more pictures :!:
