Being a lazy spotter sometimes has disadvantages... Does anyone have the identities of these aircraft photographed in or near Seattle last month?
I tried some googling but was unable to find the identities....
First some aircraft from the great Museum Of Flight
and this Citation landing at SeaTac...
I Tried the FAA database but could'nt find it....
Identities sought....
Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

Museum of Flight
Good afternoon,
The one in the photo is: Grumman F9F-8, serial number 131232 (painted as 31232)
The one in the second photo is: Lockheed P-38L-5-LO, serial number 44-53097, c/n 422-8452
The one in the third photo is: Republic P-51D Mustang, painted as 2106602, almost certainly a replica.
Hope that helps.
Kind regards,
Peter

Good afternoon again,
According to the website warbirdregistry its c/n is: 0815346. Is is painted as "36" but this is not its original serial number. No civil registration known as well. According to another source it is supposed to be one of four remaining Yak 9U in the world.
Kind regards,
Peter
