This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. The Hamburg Airport days were absolutely great. There was continuous flying by oldies like An-2, Devon, Constellation, N-2501, Ju-52 and MH-1521.
Highlight was the record breaking old-timer formation flight.
Just imagine: you are literally surrounded by 10 Dakota’s, 2 DC-6’s and a Super Constellation…at exactly the same moment they all start up their first engine. Five minutes later more than 30 engines have come to life. A true goose bumps experience.
Photo-opportunities were, after some trial and error, not bad. Here are some results.

Hi there,
Very very nice pictures !!!
At Lelystad I saw also a couple of classical oldies but Hamburg was far better so I can see !!! Always nice to see and hear those old engines!!!
We mustn't forget that this was the beginning of airplanes, thanks to the propellor age, we now can enjoy jets and transport aircraft and so on ...

Great day you had. On Saturday when we were there the formation had to be cancelled; there was way too much wind for a safe display. Only some small solo displays (I could have sworn I saw a PA18 fly BACKWARDS ) and pleasure flights. Of the 'heavies' only D-CDLH, F-AZVM, G-APSA, HA-LIX and HB-RSC made it up into the air Still, had a nice day&went on to Köln on Sunday.
