At sunday the 9th of september 2007 there will be an open day at "De Groote Heide" in Venlo. The Venlose Zweefvlieg Club has it's airfield on "De Groote Heide".
Because of the open day there will be a PC-7 (Royal Netherlands Air Force) display. It is also possible to make a roundflight with a glider or an Antonov (I think this will be an AN-2).
More information (and source): http://www.grooteheide.nl" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Does anyone have more information about this event ?

Yesterday in the afternoon I went to the glider airfield in Venlo because of the 75th anniversary of the "Venlose Zweefvliegclub" . The following aircraft where seen:
D-FONE AN-2 Air Albatros / "Roter Baron"
PH-LUU CeF172L
PH-3N9 TL-2000
PH-3Z2 Dynamic WT9
D-EFXY PA-18-150
D-MFJB Atec 321
Unfortunatly the PC-7 was allready back to it's base, so I didn't see this nice aircraft. The following aircraft where also seen (but not by myself ) Source: http://www.nrn-forum.net" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
OO-EFA Tipsy T-66
?? PA-18-135 KLu c/s "R-126"
L-13 PC-7 131 EMVO Sqn
The PA-18 was probably the PH-KNG. There where also some glider aircraft flying and in a sort of static show near the hangar of the flying club.
