I found on A.net this fokker50 freighter of Magicbird.

It will problably one of the first converted fokker50 freighter flying around, that is if it is flying. I think the Bae ATP are out of the question.
Does someone know more behind this. Will it keep it's registration PH-LMA

more information about the Sterling jet that was supposed to fly as PH-HSW, it looks like the a/c won't be ready to start operations yet, so a collegue told me today HV will lease a B757 to meet demands during the spring holidays (~ 1 month). I dont know where the 757 is comming from but Ill try to find that out asap.

Transavia update:

Its now official we will wet-lease a B757 for the comming summer period. The "lucky" frame will be our old PH-TKD currently flying around the globe as Air Finlands OH-AFI.

The aircraft will arrive at AMS already next thursday and will be leased from next week till somewhere in May...and than again from the end of June untill the end of september.

Edit: first flight will be on HV171 AMS-CHQ 26-04-2007 departure 14:55

Will they apply Transavia titels on the airplane ??

Is the deal with the two Ex-Sterling 737 off, or are they heading straight for Orly ?
First flight from Orly is 12 may.

Its prolly going to wear HV titles during the june-september period yes.

Intentionally only 1 of the 2 Sterling jets (F-GZHV) was ment to fly for HV, however this a/c isn't updated to HV standards yet and thus it won't fly (I heard there are some problems with the onboard galleys)...however it will be ready on time to start flying for TO in early may.

Last year as HV introduced NC I made a repaint of the NC on 757 for Flightsim. Here some shots of PH-TKC in NC.

By the looks of it -see this topic (and checking the Unesco World Heritages list) it probably will be Pont Du Gard.

Contract is signed already and the a/c will arrive at AMS next thursday. It probably won't have any special stickers during the first period but will receive "Operated for transavia.com" stickers during the second period.

lol I heard some off our ex 757 pilots are quite frustrated now :P
