Canon EOS5D experiences

Post by Mister C »

Hi,

I am interested to hear from you what your experiences are with the Canon EOS5D SLR body. I have already a EOS30D, now thinking to buy a second 30D or 5D.

All info is welcome!

Carlo

Don't own one msyelf but beware that this is a full-frame camera (24x36 mm) and it doesn't incorporate the 1.6x or 1.3x cropfactor. So this also affects your choice for lenses

It is said to be used by professional photographers as a reliable backup for their EOS 1D's.

But it is also capable of producing 12.8 MP images, so with Photoshop you can crop your way to the same zoom factor.

On the Fencecheck forum there is someone who uses an EOS5D for aviation photography. You might wanna post your question there to get in touch with him.
