Yes, I'm addicted too.
The 1981 Open Day brought some scenes not likely to be repeated at present.
F-111E being added to the static on pre-show Friday, right amidst the public. I remember the pitot tube was still warm.
Hope the pilot doesn't mind having his picture here after more than 25 years...
We had four types of fighters operational in this country.
You did not have to look upwards for a low pass.
USAF transports did not necessarily have to blend in with the landscape.
Display lines were right over the runway and we still had a natural number of blond people in Holland.
Come to think of it, the weather seems to be one of the few things unchanged...
