At the end of 2025, 183 F-35B and 52 F-35C aircraft will have been delivered to the Marine Corps. Those aircraft are supporting Developmental/Operational Test, an F-35B Fleet Replacement Squadron on each coast, an F-35C FRS detachment, and eleven fleet squadrons.

While the program of record (420 total F-35 aircraft) has not changed, we have updated our F-35 procurement
profile to reflect an increase in F-35C squadrons.

Per the TACAIR Transition plan,
VMFA-232, VMFA-323, VMFA-112, and VMFA-134 will now transition as F-35C squadrons.

The program of record now includes 280 F-35Bs and 140 F-35Cs to support 12 F-35B squadrons and 8 F-35C squadrons.

The following F-35's are active. Non of these were first flight and were noted Feb 14, 2025.
AM-50, 5826 (22-5826).
AF-457, 22-5794/TX and carries the flagship insignia "457 FS". And finally a TX bird with their SQN Patch on the intake rather than the 301 FW patch.
BF-173, 170572 nmks.

And just FYI- AF-388, 22-5688/HL destined for the 388 FW, 421 FS, which is on loan to the 301 FW, 457 FS is now active with the 457th as well. This bird had some kind of issue right after it got delivered and has not been active in 6 or so months.
