Monday 9th Dec

Airbus Norte

CN235 252 ex IAC
CN235 253 ex IAC
C295 284 IAC
C295 T.21-04/35-04

All the above in store. An addition on Tuesday 10.12 (pulled out of hangar for engine run) was:-

C295 02 (wh) Uzbek AF (Arr for rework 11.3.24, air test 11.12 as "CASA45A").

Airbus Sur

A400 (EC-402) 100 years San Pablo marks.
A400 5402 for GAF (rework).
A400 5450 for GAF.
A400 MSN145 (primer, for GAF as 5451).
A400 0065 FAF (rework, returned to Orleans 13.12 as “CTM2029”).

A further A400 was pulled out late Tuesday afternoon (10.12), seen as we departed. It was painted but appeared to have some green-ish metallic unpainted area around the port wing root/upper fuselage which may assist in identifying it.

C295 R-751 MSN 226 for Angola.
C295 EC-001 MSN163 Airbus (Spcl mks 300 orders).
C295 CA-7109 for India (f/f 10.12 as “CASA940” so MSN240). Pulled out Mon pm.
C295 CA-7111 for India.

All the above on the main ramp.

Between hangars.

C295 R-752 (MSN228) for Angola. Left outside.
C295 (29503) MSN227 Kazakh Border Guard. Put away.
C295 for Angola, grey c/s. Put away. See below.

Those below stored south of hangars.

C295 EC-295 (P001) “C295” Modified to FTB2 flight test bed.
C295 (235) for Airbus? Primer, grey rudder.
CC-295 295503 for RCAF.
CC-295 295510 for RCAF.
CC-295 295511 for RCAF.
CC-295 295512 for RCAF.
CC-295 295514 for RCAF.

Maestranza:

P-3 P3-10
P-3 P3M-12

C212 T.12D-74/54-11

C-130 T.10-04 (cockpit section).

T-35 store:

Row 1
E.26-10, E.26-20, E.26-23, E.26-24/79-71.

Row 2
E.26-26/79-73. E.26-29, E.26-32, E.26-34.

Row 3
E.26-17, E.26-27/791-27, E.26-35/791-35 + 1 bagged.

Row 4
4 bagged.

The Angolan C295s pose a problem. They have ordered 3 and we saw 3. Two white ones read off, R-751 & R-752, the third being in the grey scheme with Angolan roundel on the fin (like an Irish roundel but without the white). This one looked just like T-412, however T-412 was d/d 23.7.24 and ADSB data shows it to have been active in Angola this week. So is there now a 4th Angolan?

Which FAF 0065 is that? I saw two FAF between December 5th and 8th on the south ramp. One of them was F-RBAY - but he supposedly departed on December 13th on a delivery flight. What was the other FAF A400?

VH3D,

0065/F-RBAM was outside 8/9/10th Dec and departed to Orleans at 18:30 on 13th Dec. F-RBAY is 0142 and hasn't flown since 28th Nov. We only saw one French A400, 0065/F-RBAM, unless our unidentified example that was pulled out shortly before our departure (10th dec) proves to be French.

Are you shure that MSN 145 will be 54+51?

Herby,

Not 100% until it is painted up I suppose, but it is definitely German (wears the flag) and it's the one after 5450/MSN144. Still in primer 10th Dec.

Thanks, Mike!

Well, there are plans to register 54+51, 52 and 63 as 54+61, 62 and 63 respectively.

Cheers Herby. Whilst we're on the subject, what about 54+35? As far as I'm aware, this f/f 18.5.20 and hasn't flown since 13.8.20 (not yet d/d). Something strange going on.

Herby explained in Wunstorf topic - Spotting Germany
In 2025 four more A400M are planned for a delivery, including 54+35 which is the test mount for the DIRCM system. The last two are planned for 2026.

Hi Mike,

Funny you say, I only saw F-RBAY outside Dec 5,6,7 and 8th, and the other FAF A400 on Dec 7th. They took it out in the morning (my shot is from 11:30am), and when I got back in the afternoon 5pm the plane was gone (only F-RBAY was on the ramp).

On the picture (forgive the quality, heat haze and long distance for the record shot) Left to right:
Luftwaffe A400 145 in primer - French AF A400 unIDed (probably F-RBAM) - Luftwaffe A400 54+50 - French AF A400 F-RBAY - Angola CASA R-751
I did not see the unIDed FAF A400 on the 5th, 6th, or 8th.

Hi VH3D,

That is definitely where 0065 was parked (next to the "round" hangar). It was there bright and early on the 9th (I understand outside overnight 8-9th) and was read off from the S side (ie the left side of the fin on your pic) . Anyone with more pics of 0142/F-RBAY?
