Re: NELLIS AFB (LSV/KLSV) - 2024
Has anyone recently paid any attention to the current local Aggressor F-16 fleet? I have read rumours that the AFRC 706th AGRS will lose or already has lost its LV coded Vipers?

See the Scramble SIS Summary for the provisional dates. They can still change, hence the questionmarks.

They're flying the LV Vipers nearly daily, and have been flying the LN marked F35's as well. (The 706 AGRS flies F-16's and F-35's). I think I saw four or five different LV tails plus the color jet yesterday flying normal sorties.Richard from Rotterdam wrote: ↑11 Dec 2024, 10:56 Has anyone recently paid any attention to the current local Aggressor F-16 fleet? Thanks for the info! Those LV ones, are they in the standard F-16 camo or also in aggressor schemes?

They’re standard paint. They do have one in special markings, a gray/white camo with blue and red on the tail. Its official name is “Felon”. Aircraft 85-501.
The rest are a mix of have-glass and non have-glass.
If you make it to Nellis, the best way to tell it’s the reservists is by the ATC callsign. “Phoenix” (spelled PHNIX) and “Cajun” are them.
