In early December A400M 54+01 should be unveiled at Wunstorf with a „10 years A400M at LTG 62“ special foil. It will not be very colourful, but the foil should be as large as the one on the Air Defender A400M 54+21.

The special foiled 54+01 had it’s rollout this week, but was unfortunately not very „special“. But better than nothing.

LTG 62 celebrated ten years of A400M flying this week with a nice peoplemade „10 Jahre A400M“ in front of special marked 54+01.

The Commanding Officer (Kommodore) Oberst Knoll told the press, after the first five difficult and challenging years the second five were very good and successful.

In 2025 four more A400M are planned for a delivery, including 54+35 which is the test mount for the DIRCM system. The last two are planned for 2026.

If the responsible German offices gave their approval the last three aircrafts will be delivered with some kind of „special marking“, which I will write about later.
