Forum rules
ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Lisbon - 23-24/01/2024 (CIV)

Post by MikeRomeo »

I've had to visit Lisbon last week. Since the weather forecast was showing abundant sunlight (almost 20ºC!), I decided to pack my camera. I've been to the airport on the afternoon of the 23rd and morning/afternoon of the 24th. The photos bellow are shown in chronological order.

Image

LATAM Brasil B777 are not that familiar sight at Lisbon. But what was not common for sure, was to have 2 LATAM widebodies (the other was CC-BGF) departing one after the other, in the early afternoon.

The 2 EuroAtlantic Airways B777 in one photo. CS-TSW is seen lining up for departure to Maputo, as it is operating for LAM (TM703).

GetJet Airlines (LY-WIL) operating for Air Serbia. Interestingly they operate to Lisbon and Porto.

One of the latest additions to he Spanish bizjet register. This is former XA-GRB and is seen arriving on the 24th from Valencia. Not 100% confirmed about this particular flight but early morning bizjet arrivals (to Porto and Lisbon) from Valencia or Madrid, are usually connected with Mercadona, a Spannish Supermarket brand.

They never were indeed, but they are this winter. LATAM has a daily B77W flight and a 4-weekly B789 flight. Normally not departing right after another though. The B77W normally departs at 8.50 in the morning.

Thanks for the update. I remember later on that day I've checked that B777 flight on FR24,and it was indeed a couple of hours delayed.
