Hi guys,
Just came back from the 2023 Blue Angels Homecoming and I'm missing a registration.
On the static display, a Mig 29 were exposed without any marking (see below pictures).
As per some comments found on the Facebook page of the museum, it seems to be a former Moldavian aircraft. I quote "It must be from the Moldovan Air Force as it is a 9-13 version! The Germans used version 9-12, which they then handed over to Poland!"

Do you have any idea of a possible registration and history ? Thanks a lot.

Re: Mig 29 Pensacola
Also if someone is able to provide me a site or a list of exposed planes in the museum, it would be nice. I want to compare all aircrafts I saw to see if there is any difference before entering everything in plane logger database.

Aircraft has 28 in top of the tail.
Database Scramble
28 wh MiG-29 (9-12) 2960512140 to United States previous 28 yel
But that is a 9-12 not a 9-13

So you managed to get *that* close and now you are asking others for its ID? SMH
Re: Mig 29 Pensacola
I guess you are better than me but I didn't manage to find full reg with only two small number at the top of a tail.
Sorry for asking people with a stronger culture than me.

Don’t worry about it, some people always have to be bias. Thats why I don’t post anything anymore.
Compromise is failure.
Re: Mig 29 Pensacola
I think you know my list, but going to throw it out here anyway:
Pensacola museum and outdoor (storage/overflow) area.
I am not going to pretend is it 100% acurate or complete, too much changes all the time with too few logs, but it should give you a pretty good start to compare your own list with. I'd be more than interested to see the differences.
And for the rest of the dozen or so locations on base and around, check the Florida listing.
And was this MiG part of the museum?

It is never a good idea to stop posting because one person says something annoying or unfriendly. Most people are very happy with all posts, logs and information, and this forum can only florish if people DO post. Just ignore rubbish comments!Don’t worry about it, some people always have to be bias. Thats why I don’t post anything anymore.
