The Flying Museum Seppe organised the annual local Market Garden Day. In the morning all kind of old timers were expected to fly-in from various locations and join the museum's collection parked outside on the gras strip adjacent to the northern taxi track. By the end of the morning a nice collection of Tiger Moths, Chipmunks, SV4's, Stearmans, Austers/Taylorcraft an L-18, L-19 a Klemm a T-6 and a Ce208 performing para droppings had gathered.
At 11:30 hours 16 of the aircraft took off and flew a route over WW2 Allied crash locations in the western part of Brabant to commemorate the fallen aircrews.
This year's edition was blessed with excellent weather and together with a well organised event it made for a beautiful day.
This is a selection of the various aircraft that were present.
Hope you like this selection.

Great stuff Rene, was a superb day out. And weather a vast improvement from last year.
Any change you have a pic of the Stearman (N1944S) departure or the lowpass that followed around 1330-1335 ish? Curious as I was occupying the front seat on that flight.
All the best, Michael

Nice pictures René. I was also present from 12:20 onwards after my visit to Eindhoven so sadly missed the big formation, but I managed to photograph all participating aircraft during the afternoon till 15:45.
In the early morning, 9H-WIT was present for a short stop to pick up people. I decided to make a quick stop on my way to Eindhoven.

Very very nice gents. Even just in static display this would be a great collection of aeroplanes but to have them all flying is another dimension! Hopefully I will for a change not miss it next year but admiring your photos makes up partly for not being there. Many thanks.

No sorry I don't have that particular flight.
That T-6 lowpass was incredible. Unfortunately I had just changed my lens for the short zoom as I was on my way to the An-2.

René
