A Kawasaki BK-117B2 Westpac Rescue helicopter (ZK-HHJ) went down today around 5 PM local time while en route to rescue an injured hiker in a remote area. According to the article, the paramedic checked that the pilot and crew member were OK before setting "bush bashing" his way to the injured hiker which was only 200 meters from the crash site.
