That depends which direction you were looking and which platform you call the Sea King platform. As said, it was on the other side of the runway, seen from the bus when driving to and from the spotter area. The one on the dump was on the same side of the runway as the spotter area (you passed this with the bus, with the dumped Sea Kings (more) clearly visible).witje wrote: ↑27 Aug 2023, 19:05Was this the P-3 that could be seen (tail above the trees) from the SeaKing platform? How annoying, that's one of four Lynx I still need....Bunzing wrote: ↑27 Aug 2023, 11:48Thank you for the log Patrick!patrick dirksen wrote: ↑26 Aug 2023, 17:53 "Quick and dirty" log, with quite some c/n updates, markings as worn
In addition, Lynx 83+07 (with 175 years Marine stickers) could be seen parked in front of the Lynx hangar near the civil terminal around 12.00 LT. It flew during the family day in the afternoon, as did Sea King 89+63 and W-3 0716.

Thx for the log Patrick. Are you using the brackets for looked up or removed numbers?
I can confirm the P-3C 60+01 still has it’s serial.

I have not seen it outside on Friday. As I recall correctly the other side of the runway was devoid of aircraft for most of the day.

I arrived at Nordholz around 6:30 local on Saturday, and it was already outside. To be honest, I can not imagine they dragged it out on the Saturday.Antilliaan wrote: ↑28 Aug 2023, 09:33 I have not seen it outside on Friday. 60+22 was outside on the north side on Friday morning. I saw one more in the hangar, looking through the hangar doors on Friday. Probably it was 60+05 and got towed out later.
Re: SAR MEET 24-28 August 2023 @NAS Nordholz
Could you please state where 60+22 was parked? Probably with a GPS location? Thanks!
