Hi,
Last month I had the chance to visit home of Erickson Aero Tankers. Lots of goodies on the ramps.
First batch consists of the aircraft not tied to the museum, and later on I'll post some shots from the Erickson Aircraft Collection museum.

Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

Part two consists of Erickson Aircraft Collection - Most of the exhibits are in airworthy condition. There is many more airplanes than the pictures show. I've edited maybe half of the collection.

That's a co-incidence! I've visited the museum and the tankers in June 2023.
Very friendly folks there. Treated them to some Dutch Stroopwafels for their kindness (I always bring some when traveling).

Lucky you that the B-17F was outside!
Nice set, although personally I'm not a fan of the traditional side-on shots.

For me, #1 takes the cake in both posts, awesome planes with a great backdrop! I had no idea there is so much to see there.
Thanks for sharing!

I see that you were there in the afternoon. I was there on Sunday morning and besides the museum people nobody was around. I wish someone was there to let me in to see MD-87 inside like you did.Derice wrote: ↑02 Jul 2023, 17:03 That's a co-incidence! I've visited the museum and the tankers in June 2023.

It's definitely place to visit if you are in the area.
