Hi!
On 14 March 2023, I flew to Fukuoka on the first available flight from Narita. That was on A321-200NX JA26LR of Jetstar, arriving at Fukuoka at 09:00 in the morning after a 2 hour flight. My workshop started around 13:00, leaving some time to do some planespotting.
I set out to the observation deck on the domestic terminal, which was recently renovated and is a really fantastic facility. It gives close views on the action, especially when on runway 16 operations. The terrace is good until close to noon as then the sun starts to turn around and you face backlight.
After my workshop I returned to the airport and went to the observation deck of the international terminal. Unfortunately, this deck is not as nice as the one on the domestic terminal as it's behind thick and dirty glass. So only a few pictures were taken there before I took the shuttle bus to the domestic terminal for my evening flight back to Narita.
Anyway, here's an impression of a few nice hours on the decks:
1. I was just in time on the deck to snap this Pokemon Skymark B737-800 JA73AB:

2. At Fukuoka you also have the opportunity to spot some of the J-Air Embraers like this ERJ170 JA211J:

3. And this ERJ190 JA249J:

4. Fuji Dream Airlines isn't flying to Tokyo so it was nice to photograph a few of their colored ERJ175s like this blue JA13FJ:

5. Red JA01FJ:

6. And yellow JA07FJ:

7. ANA Wings can also be seen with some of their DHC-8-400s like this JA854A:

8. The black liveried A320s of Starflyer are always nice to see:

9. This B737-800 JA09RK is my first aircraft of Japan Transocean Air:

10. JAL is using its fleet of A350-900s on domestic routes only and from Fukuoka they fly it to Haneda, where this JA05XJ is coming from:

11. Fukuoka has a small military base at the airport where a few MH-47s and T-4s are based. But sometimes they have some visitors, like this nice C-2 18-1215.

12. No prices to guess who previously operated this A321neo HS-VKM of Thai VietJet Air:

13. My chariot into Fukuoka was still parked at the gate, A321-200NX JA26LR of Jetstar:

14. Not too hard to figure out the aircraft type on this A321N HS-EAA of AirAsia:

15. Another nice surprise from the JASDF, just before lunch two U-4s stopped by including this 85-3253:

16. This Ibex CRJ-700 JA07RJ is promoting the Rakuten Eagles, a baseball team from Japan:

17. And yet another new aircraft type of STARLUX for me, A321N B-58207:

18. Very cool to catch one of these special liveried B737-800s of JTA. JA06RK is wearing a pink fish-livery, another a blue version:

19. Not too sharp picture of T-4 36-5699 of the JASDF due to the thick glass:

20. And ending this set from FUK with this nice little ATR42 JA09JC of Japan Air Commuter:
